I had a good dinner with George and his brothers, Henry and Phil, Phil's wife Heather and Baby Talia, and cousin Jacob, who was down from Boston. I especially enjoyed catching up with Heather, and hope to talk more with her by phone soon.
We went to see "Superman Returns" afterward. It as predictable and a little long, but good summer entertainment. I was especially fascinated by the shots of the sky and of the ocean, which weren't the point of the movie, but they are what drew me in and enveloped me.
